The Create And Run Thread page in NextGenAiAssistant provides a flexible interface for initiating content generation for multiple products, categories, or other record types. This feature is especially powerful for generating content in bulk while allowing specific control over content type, target records, and multistore context.
Understanding the Create And Run Thread Form
The Create And Run Thread form allows you to choose which records will receive AI-generated content and customize the settings for each batch of content. Here’s a breakdown of the key fields and options:
1. Selection Type
- Selection Type allows you to specify the type of records you want to generate content for.
- Options include:
- Products: Select to generate content for products.
- Categories: Select to generate content for category pages.
- Based on your choice, you’ll be able to search for and select specific records of that type.
2. Selecting Records via Autocomplete
- After choosing a Selection Type, you can start typing in the autocomplete field to find specific records (products or categories).
- This allows you to quickly select multiple items without needing to browse through the entire catalog, making it efficient for bulk content generation.
3. Prompt Type
- Prompt Type defines the kind of content you want the AI to generate. Options might include:
- Generate Product Description: Creates descriptions for each selected product.
- Generate Meta Tags: Produces SEO meta tags for products or categories.
- Generate Category Description: Generates descriptions for selected categories.
- Generate Translations: Translates content for selected records.
- For a full list and descriptions of available prompt types, refer to the Prompt Type Reference Guide.
4. Multistore Context
- The multistore context you select in the PrestaShop admin panel affects how threads are created across different stores.
- All Shops: If you select All Shops in the PrestaShop context, the module will create separate threads for each selected record across all stores. This allows you to generate unique content tailored to each store in a multistore setup.
- Specific Shop: If you select a specific shop from the context menu, the module will only create threads for that shop. This ensures that content is generated only for the selected store, making it ideal if you need to update content in one store without affecting others.
- For more details on how multistore configurations work, see the Multistore Configuration Guide.
5. Model and Language Options
- Model Provider: Choose the AI model provider (typically OpenAI).
- OpenAI Model: Select the model version, such as GPT-4o mini or GPT-4o, based on the complexity and detail required.
- Languages: Choose the language in which the content should be generated, ensuring alignment with the localization settings of each store.
6. Additional Parameters
- Autosave: When enabled, the generated content is saved directly to each record without manual review. This option is ideal for quick, automated updates.
- Backup: Select this option to create a backup of each record’s current data before applying new content, allowing you to restore previous content if needed.
7. Uploading Additional Files
- You can attach files (such as .txt or .pdf files) that provide additional context for the AI, like product specifications or SEO guidelines. These files are used to generate more customized content.
8. Starting the Thread
- Once everything is configured, click Create And Run to start the content generation process. The selected records will each receive their own thread, which can be monitored in the AI Assistant – Threads tab.
- If All Shops was selected, separate threads will be created for each store in the multistore setup, whereas a single thread will be created if a specific shop was chosen.
Using the Create And Run Thread page allows you to efficiently generate tailored content across multiple records, stores, and languages. For detailed information on monitoring and managing threads, see the Thread Management Guide.
